Captain Blood

Age of Pirates: Captain Blood is an action-adventure game based on the novels by Rafael Sabatini about the titular Captain Blood. The player will assume the role of the Captain, following his adventures in 1685 Spanish Main. Originally destined for Xbox 360 back in 2010, plans for the game’s launch came to a halt after its publisher went bankrupt and legal challenges prevented the developer from releasing it themselves. 15 years later, those challenges have now been resolved. After the local magistrate’s daughter is kidnapped, he swallows his pride and hires Captain Blood and his crew to rescue her. Playing as “the manliest pirate captain ever to drink grog while romancing maidens across the Spanish main,” you will set out on wild adventures packed with cannon firing, pistol shooting, swashbuckling sword fights and even more pirate-related shenanigans.
